1 Day Mt.Kenya climbing safari in Kenya

This tour starts and ends in Nairobi however our company is flexible enough to cater for any pickup point, you just have to inform us in advance. Early in the morning at around 5:00am, our company representative shall come to your pickup point; he shall greet you and later drive you to Mount Kenya national park.  You shall drive for about 2 hours and 30 minutes until the Naro moru gate. Upon arrival at the gate, you shall be registered with park authority, they shall verify your park entrance fees, and later, you shall start hiking. This hike is an adventurous journey as you shall first start to hike through the rainforest where you shall stand a chance of viewing different animal species that inhabit within the park. Some of the common species include Buffaloes, Elephants, antelopes, leopards, white tailed mongoose, giant forest hog and others. As regards to bird watching, you shall occasionally enjoy bird watching within the park as you hike through the deep rainforest. During this wonderful 1 day Mt.Kenya climbing, you shall climb until the Met station (3400) where you shall relax a bit for enjoy your lunch and later, you will continue until the alpine region where you have clear views of Mt.Kenya peak. You shall enjoy the surrounding magnificent views and later, you shall descend back until the Naro moru gate to check out and drive back to Nairobi. The whole hiking experience takes about 5 hours.
