Itinerary

Day 1Nairobi to Amboseli National park

The tour starts and ends in Nairobi. Early in the morning after breakfast, you shall drive to Amboseli National park. This park is situated 240km from Nairobi at the Kenya-Tanzania border. After 6 hours of driving, you shall finally arrive at the park. Upon arrival, you shall check in at your lodge and later, drive back to the park to start your game drive experience. This is a short experience before retiring back to the park for lunch. After, you shall have an immersive game drive where you shall look out for several wildlife animals such as Elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and others. This park is mainly swampy which gives it an edge of hosting several species of birds. You shall be in position to spot several species of birds. One of the points that you can miss out during this drive is the observation hill, the observational hill shall give you clear views of the swamps and different wildlife species within the park. You shall be able to have clear views of Mount Kilimanjaro and savannah vegetation. Later, you shall drive back to the lodge for a relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 2Game drive and drive back to Nairobi

After breakfast, you shall drive to the park to enjoy a morning game drive which shall give you wonderful insights about several wildlife experiences.  Depending on your schedule, a tour to the Maasai villages around the park can be arranged. Later, you shall drive back to Nairobi to mark the end of this wonderful 2 day Amboseli national park safari.
