Amboseli Safaris

Safaris in Amboseli National Park

At 392sqkm, Amboseli National Park is a small park and lacks the profusion of animal species found in the Masai Mara, but as the landscape provides limited cover for wildlife you have a good chance of seeing some of the larger predators. The Amboseli safari guarantees close encounters with numerous species of birds, large herds of wildebeests and zebra, buffalos, giraffes, antelopes, baboons and elephant families,. You could also catch a glimpse of the rare black rhino every now and then. Prior to leaving Amboseli Park, it would be far-sighted for you to visit the quite a few private wildlife sanctuaries scattered about the park, and strategically situated on higher grounds giving impressive views of Mount Kilimanjaro and watering holes where it is possible to enjoy as wild animals drink water and take pleasure in the salt licks so shut for you than you might have at any time thought achievable, offering a perfect ambience to reflect on the magnificence of natures creation.
